It's really strange to me to think that Heath Ledger is dead.
Especially because I was just talking about him with my friends this morning.
It's all very surreal, at the moment.
And then...The Tokio Hotel concerts have been wreaking havoc on my mind. Various dramatrons in the fandom are making this more stressful than it should be. Here are the dates, more info (including ticket info) found here.
February 9 - Montreal, Canada - SOLD OUT
February 10 - Toronto, Canada - SOLD OUT
February 15 - Hollywood, California - Tickets on sale now
February 16 - Anaheim, California - Tickets not on sale yet
February 18 - New York, New York - Tickets on sale Monday
That is their whirlwind tour of North America! Hanna and I are going to the Anaheim show, by hook or by crook, but logistics and getting tickets are driving me bonkers. As is the idea of actually getting to see the band in concert. In a heckuva small venue, too. Eeep!
Reading Keith's FF blog post reminds me to get my shizzle together and re-organize my life. That is long over-due (For me it is always "As soon as this or that is over" but there's always another thing) and it is driving me crazy. It seems like I can never concentrate on doing important things, whether it is school work or even things I like, like emailing people back. It's awful.
But guess what? I dyed my hair last weekend! This is what it looks like, now: eins, zwei (because Vox is being snotty). Purple replaces the blonde bits tomorrow. It is quite strange getting used to having black hair again, as it's been almost a year, but I think I like it.
::yawn::
I'm going to go snuggle in my bettkin, it's been awful cold lately.
Much love,
Lotte
I have a B+ in le Trigonometry...which kind of sucks (as I used to have an A), but it's better than I thought I'd have, especially because I got all of a C+ on the last test!
TH had a concert in Amsterdam tonight! It was rad. Unfortunately, I am still working on pictures etc from the 6th in Israel. Will everyone who has internet that is faster than Dial Up please take a moment to be thankful? Because this shizzle sucks.
To-night we are going to see the Invasion of the Body Snatchers at the theater and listen to a talk about sound editing and stuff! It should be a lark.
Enjoy your evening!
Love always,
Charlie
OHMYGOD. OHMYGOD!
All I could think of, was that they were real. And they looked sooo
awesome! And Tom jumped on Bill. And I can’t feel my legs. And I have
no voice. But it was too good to be true!
And Bill’s tattoo! ljfsfljlsepfespfkskfopesikeo LOVE IT!
And In die Nacht & Rette mich & An deiner Seite. OHGOD!!!! I
haven’t cried so much in my life. Never. It was too beautiful.
And… And. I was soo close to them! And at first I couldn’t believe I
could see them. And then it was over so soon and… Oh god. And then we
only cried and hugged. And I wanted them to come back.
Oh and shit. We couldn’t take any pictures. And we couldn’t enter when we had our cameras. So I had to give my camera to a dad of Estonian fan I never had seen before. Lol. But i still can’t believe it that I saw them.
And at first when Tom came in and started playing Übers Ende der Welt. Oh my God! I just watched in disbelief and when they had already played Reden & Ich brech aus, I realized that I’m not watching it in the TV. I am actually seeing them. And at that point I started crying. And during Heilig I cried like so much and then cried through the whole concert. And I remebmber when I once thought that I won’t scream or cry when i’ll see them, I’ll just sing along. And there I was, screaming and crying…
And when Bill screamed: “Let me hear you make some noise!” three times in a row, I thought i’ll pass out, because I screamed so loud. But I was still smiling and screaming. All the time. And the security guys gave us water all the time and it was good. Because it was so hot and wet there!
Oh and Bill throwed wet on me and I got a little bit of Tom’s water too. And ohmygod when Bill was looking at Tom and they smiled and then Tom started to sing along with Bill and they were like this close and smiled and watched into eachothers eyes. I think everybody got totally crazy!
And they played: Übers Ende der Welt, Reden, Der Letzte Tag, Ich brech Aus, Leb die Sekunde (Ohmygod. Tom was doing this thing with his hands when we had to scream Leb die sekunde ), Heilig, Spring Nicht (Oh yeah. Then I cried also like a crazy), Wir sterben niemals Aus, Ich bin nich’ ich, Wo sind eure Hände, Schrei, Durch den Monsun (It was soooo beatiful ), Stich ins Glück, Totgeliebt,. And then they went away, saying that Togeliebt was their last song (Bill spoke in German. Aww. So sweet. ) but we called them back and they obviously had to come back, because some guys brought the seats for Bill & Tom and yeah I screamed like a crazy and I was the first one, then everybody else started screaming, when Tom and Bill came back. But I saw them before the others like in the backstage area, cause the curtin was open a little. And In die Nacht!
I think I already told you that i cried like a baby during it. It was so beautiful. Tom’s eyes closed and Bill looking at Tom and when Tom opened his eyes, they were so sad and then he tried to smile to us and looked almost at me. And oh my god…
Then Goerg & Gustav joined them and it was time to sing Rette Mich. I think this was the song that got sang(? sing ) along the most. Like it was sooo beautiful. And I swear to god, they were smiling almost all the time. And they’re smiles are so beautiful!!
And after Rette Mich they wen’t away but i knew that they have to play An Deiner Seite too, and then we started to sing Happy Birthday song, which didn’t came out very good. And I think they didn’t even hear us, but still, they came back. Smilig and staff. And when An deiner Seite came, I was like watchind them like they were some kindof miracle (which they obviously are) and when Bill sang (?sing) Ich bin Da, part I was like: is this really live? He was sing it soo good! And it ended so suddenly. Bill throwed his towel and Bill and Tom thorwed us with water and Gustav got rid of his drumsticks and then I knew, this must be end… And they went away and everybody started screaming and when there wasn’t any chance they’ll come back.. We just started crying and hugging eachother.
And the more minutes went by the more I started crying, because it was over so soon… And i wanted to hear them again. I wanted to see Bill’s smile again. And Tom looking protectevly at Bill. I wanted to see it again. I wanted to be in that almost barebly hot and wet crowd again, just to hear and see them a little more… And I knew I couldn’t. It was all over.
Dang! TH, plz come to America already! Some of my fave pics from the show:
