Nein, there are no corpses shipping in here, just in time for Christmas. Instead, my zoopear bruder bought me The Departed soundtrack for my birthday! My socks are rocking über hard. I'm Shipping Up to Boston by the Dropkick Murphys is quite possibly my new favourite song. Don't tell Bill!
D-sauce also got me a Lite-Brite pen, which is amazing.
In other news, it is Christmas in under 3 hours, and I hate college application essays.
I'm going to go write the damn thing now. On paper. Because I'm the kind of person who still buys CDs and memorizes the digits of pi for fun.
Merry Christmas Eve, bb's! Sorry I am lame when it comes to responding.

Chex out the new ecard slash blog post from Fred Flare!
This is one of my favourites in a while for a few reasons, chief among these is that the mentioned new products are positively oozing with amazing. As if I wasn't already excited for Christmas (/birthday!) shopping....
The other reason? Well, Keith named this e-card "99 Red Balloons" after the Nena song. Guess whose favourite artist pretty much ever is Nena? (<<There's something deeply, grammatically wrong with that sentence) BILL! (Kaulitz...durrr). So that was nifty. Sometime I have to take Bill to FF...just so's he can load up on sweet stuff. For him and the Billatypus*!
Ohdang...this post has Fred Flare, Bill, and the Billatypus? Could it get anymore awesome? Answer: probably. But I've been up literally all night doing homework, so I am incapable of stepping up to the plate just now.
So pretty much...I love the ecard, I love the new products, I'm so completely stoked to go 18th Birthday shopping for Hanna & Cherie and Christmas shopping for everyone else!
Oh, and BTW, my lunch pail is still pretty much my favourite thing, ever.
((Hey, if anyone is trying to think of something to get me for mon birthday slash for Christmas, here are two guaranteed winners: Tokio Hotel anything [or even just money for TH stuff/concert, heh heh], or a Fred Flare gift cert! Danke in advance!))
Rubbing her hands and loading her wishlist,
Charlotte
P.S. The Billatypus, in case you're wondering, is a stuffed platypus that belongs to Bill & I. It is cuddly in a big way. I shan't go into its history unless asked, suffice to say it is adorable.
On Friday I baked chocolate chip cookies and then
I suppose it is good that I slept, because I had to arise fairly early (6-ish) on Saturday morning to shower, dress, put my cookies in my lunchbox, gather my number 2 pencils, and vamoose from mi casa to go to Hanna's, and then...the SAT. Which was at school.
I shan't go into great deal when describing the testing experience, suffice to say that I ran out of time two words ("ground up," as in "from the ground up," not "the man was chopped into pieces and then ground up") before I finished my essay, and that I did, I reckon, OK on the math and English sections, stumped only by a few algebra/geometry problems and a couple of words for which I could not conjure meanings. Scores come in a few weeks hence, and we shall see the truth then.
Once done with the test I was not much in the mood to do much else, so, after picking up Kiss Me Like a Stranger, Gene Wilder's memoir, I headed home to sit on the window seat, eat veggie dogs, and read it. Not the best book ever written, and I had heard a lot of the stories before (from listening to G.W. interviews on NPR) but it was still enjoyable! I recommend it for Gene Wilder fans (how can you not be one?), and maybe even fans of Mel Brooks, because there are some fun Mel B (sounds like the Spice Girl, don't it?) stories in there as well.
The lovely power went out while I was reading, so instead of taking a shower (I needed to shampoo without conditioner for the hair dyeage and no power = no hairdryer) I read Canadian Living, which, incidentally, is one of the best magazines I've ever encountered. There is a recipe for Halloween cupcakes in there that I am just dying to try, but first I must procure marzipan!
The power eventually returned, I hopped in the shower and scrubbed as much of the accursed color out, then we went to the local "brews and blues" roadhouse for dinner. I had a kid's hamburger, because after my v-dogs, wheaties, and 8 cookie breakfast I could not even dream of handling anything bigger! Then it was back home (at this point it was almost 7pm) and the dye-a-thon began!!
Seriously, my mom has become super-talented at dyeing my hair after all these times! It's neat, and makes my life easier, and my arms less tired. I was a tad worried that we would run out of dye, but luckily we did not, though I reckon I'm going to have to purch 2 cans of dye (nooooo!!!) next time.
Whilst allowing it to ruminate on my head I watched Everything is Illuminated (finally!), and it was excellent, very B.A. Elijah Wood was excellent, as always, and the ever-dashing Eugene Hutz brought it in a big way! Now I have a hankering for a Ukrainian accent. If you are at all a fan of Elijah, Mr. Hutz, Ukraine, or good movies (or heck, even just Gogol Bordello) you should definitely see it!
I also read up on the Tokio Hotel concert in Tel Aviv, which, apparently, was super-awesome! Bill and Tom both wore red, TK wore his birthday shirt which was nifty. BK already rocks the re-wear all the time and always has, but this is a new thing for TK, which I could definitely get used to! It also looks like Bill got a bunch of the white cut out of his hair, which thrills me because I'm no so much a fan of it when there's too much of it. Boys' appearances aside, they played really well, songs in both English and German (I'm very proud of Bill, that he did not confuse the words), and the fans were very enthusiastic! The one shadow over it is that 8 teenage girls were injured when a glass barrier shattered, and I guess they weren't really prepared to deal with that. One girl with a broken hand ran back into the concert without getting treatment! Other than that, there were just the normal injuries that result from TH crazy fandom. Rad!
It was 11pm-ish by the time I got around to rinsing out my hair, so that meant it was VERY cold when I had to stand outside in the driveway and spray my head with the hose, and then pour vinegar and water over my head, because apparently that makes the colour stay longer. The truth in that is yet to be determined, but it did mean that I smelled like an Easter egg. When it was all rinsed out it looked pretty good! So my hair is now, officially Pillarbox Red. I hope to golly that it lasts more than a week.
You can see it in those pictures above...and don't even try to pretend that you aren't impressed by my gangsta face. Don't even try.
Red again,
Charlotte
Everything about the secret party from Bill and Tom…
It is really cold here! Minus five degrees - but the vibe in the Hamburger club is getting hot! Here is where the Tokio Hotel twins, Bill and Tom celebrate there 18th birthday. In a real ice bar - in the middle of the summer. Crazy! Two rooms have the boys reserved in luxurious ice-temple. One Casino- room with two playing tables where you can gamble away and on the other side the cool ice bar. "It was just awesome", Tom tells. "Right at 12 o'clock midnight we have put on our warm coats and went right towards our 18th birthday party".
On the guest list: Only the closest friends, the family and the producers team. They celebrated the secret party in style: Exotic drinks, Champagne, Thais buffet and on top a chocolate fountain (Bill: "Oh god, I just love this stuff!")
Extra for the party there has been a logo designed with three dices that together count the number 18. The big fun was going on at the Roulette table. "Gustav and Georg were really getting into it", Bill laughs, he has decided to wear a cool gold/black striped suit for the occasion. "They were having dollar makrs in there eyes, luckily we didn't play for real money!" Really cool suprises could be found at the gift table of the twins. "It is awesome to see what people have turned up with for you", Bill excitingly tells.
"I especially liked a sculpture that had two pieces. When you put the two together they form a body. It symbolises the connection between me and Tom", the singer explains.
Finally 18! No surprise the twins were getting loose. Alcohol-free?
Not tonight - that was already told by the twins. And who drank the most? Tom: "We were both a little hang over, but if there is a moment to drink a lot, why not your 18th birthday?!" he laughs.
And Bill? "I t really knocked me out when I went from the ice bar to the Casino room. I first drank a lot of alcohol there and wasn't really aware of it all until I went there, you really have to watch out with that!"
And something else can be concluded from this night: Bill and Tom are really Party-kings: when the twins left the IndoChine at 5:30 in the morning, it was already light.
"The party was everything we wanted it to be", Bill tells tired but happy. Then they are off to there next big task: Sleeping….

Wow, sounds like some party, I'm sorry I missed it! I got my invitation, of course, but I had a conflicting event and unfortunately couldn't make it. The twins were absolutely devastated, obviously, to say nothing of how poor Gustav felt!
Check out the pictures from the party...the twins, of course, look super-hot in all of them (I love Bill's grin!), and Gusti looks amazing in his glasses. ::sigh::
Don't forget, of course, to join the eTeam and pick up your copy of the EP at Hot Topic!
Planning her own 18th,
Charlotte
The Official Tokio Hotel MySpace page finally put up a blog about all the birthdays that have been going down, and this is what it said:
WHATEVER!
On a completelyunrelated note? Is it weird to Google yourself? Ok, yeah, just checking.
I think I'm going to go find a nice, warm hole and crawl in it. Arrivaderci!!
Weird mood,
Charlotte
Anyway, my Gusti-day started off with a lovely G-centered dream last night (more on that later, it was rad)! I have a Gustav-themed blitz of posts (plus the last few days of posts that I haven't done yet) but the magazine scans are taking ages to upload and I wanted to get this up while it was still his birthday in Germany!
Catch you in a few,
Hahaha, I'm just having a couple of identity issues...
It was a Plan for the longest time for these 2 young men.
And they had a Blast, Celebrating this happy day with Close friends, And Family.
Hamburg. finally 18! Bill and Tom Kaulitz of germany's most successful rockband Tokio Hotel have been throwing a hot secret party for their 18th birthday- in a cool bar made out of ice...
The twins have been inviting 50 hand-picked guests to the "Indochine" in Hamburg- there was a Thai buffet with chicken, beef and fruit at the chocolate-fountain.
"We've been renting out this room and celebrating directly into our birthday", says Tom. "Right next to us there was this bar that was made entirely out of ice. We were celebrating in there at -5 degrees (Celsius) exactly at midnight with vodka and champagne."
The alcohol continued to flow until 5am.
Tom grins: "That's why we've been drinking a lot less in the last couple of months than usually. I guess we've grown out of that."
Bill laughs: "Now that we're 18 we don't have to make people believe our vodka drinks are indeed apple juice at parties."
Their biggest wish: Driver's license.
Tom: "I really wanna finally have sex in my own car."

I'm glad the twins had a fun birthday, it sounds rather rad. Though it does kind of bother me how much Bill likes drinking. I don't
Doesn't he look nice in his suit, though???
Hoping her 18th will be just as awesome,
Charlotte
Bill and Tom are becoming of age. Just at Bravo they tell what they look forward to the most… Tom wants to go to the strip-club. Bill wants to get badly drunk. That's the way the twins want to party.
The birthday interview!
It
will be the party of their lives! At the 1st September the
Tokio-Hotel-twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz are celebrating their 18th
birthday. A date at which the boys are looking forward to for ages. At
an exclusive Bravo-interview the super-twins are talking how they want
to party – and what's changing for them.
Bravo: Why are you so incredible happy about your birthday?
Bill:
Since 18 years we are looking forward it! (Laughs) It's simply the most
important birthday in your life. It was always so far away. With
friends and Tom I have made plans since the beginning, what we are
going to do. From now the whole life is open to us. But the 21st is
cool too. In many countries this is the age when it's allowed to drink
alcohol. (Grins!)
Bravo: It sounds like you really want to make a party with much alcohol...
Bill:
I will drink really much. And I'm happy to say it open for the first
time. Until now we always had problems when we got caught while we did
something, which was forbidden for 16 or 17 year old teens. Although
really every teen does it…
Tom: In my case it depends on the mood if
I'm going to drink much. I don't plan to drink so much. But at the 18th
birthday it's okay to get drunk badly…
Bravo: What have you planned for your birthday party?
Bill:
We will start at the 31st August and celebrate until the 1st September.
We have rent a bar – a room just for us. The party will have the motto
"Casino night". Because with 18 years you are at last allowed to go to
a casino. We think that's really wicked. Everyone has to dress very
elegant – with suit and this stuff. Just Tom not, he wants to wear a
black tracksuit. I already have a suit at my wardrobe. We are getting
the whole room equipped new – with Lounge- pieces of furniture.
Bravo: What's the menu?
Bill:
I'm still planning it too. Tomorrow I have an appointment to taste
everything. I would like to have some fast food but some Thai dainty
too. It should be rather a light meal. The people shouldn't sit formal
around with fork and knife but get every time something fresh again.
Bravo: Who will come to the party?
Bill: It's rather a small Party. I calculated for around 50 people – acquaintances, relatives, friends and of course family.
Bravo: Do you have already sent the invitations?
Bill:
Yes, we got something designed. I haven't seen it yet. I think the
cards will arrive just one day before the party at the letter boxes.
That's why I already invited them with a SMS.
Bravo: Will famous friends come too?
Bill:
No we don't want VIPs there. We separate our job from our private life.
Of course we know some VIPs – but there is nobody we are friends with.
Bravo: What do you wish for your birthday? (They talk about presents)
Bill:
Good question! We are happy that we are not the guests. We would have
no clue what we could give to us. So we have no wishes indeed. The main
point is that all guests are coming and have fun.
Bravo: And what's up about your driver's license?
Bill:
Time has put a spoke at our wheels. Actually we wanted to get in the
car and drive off at our 18th birthday. But we didn't manage it. We
really hope to manage it soon.
Tom: I hope that too. So we could visit our friends or family spontaneous too.
Bravo: Do you actually feel like an adult?
Tom:
We have felt at the age of 13 like adults. We stood at the front of the
disco and said: "Let us come in!" We have been early alone and we
always had much responsibility.
Bravo: Are there things you want to do now in any case? Maybe go to a strip-club?
Tom:
I already thought about that. I would really like to go to a
strip-club, for example one of them at the Reeperbahn, the red-light
district of Hamburg. But a cathouse would be nothing for me. I don't
pay for sex if I can get it for free and that's since I'm 12. (Laughs!)
Bravo: But as an adult you get more mature…
Tom:
Let's have a look… I'm of course not against a relationship. But it
just simply never worked out. Maybe now – with 18… (Grins!)

I know this is old but I don't think I ever posted it! You should definitely look closer at the pics of little Bill & Tom because they are to die for. Let me know if you can't get them big enough!
Loving how Bill sounds like a party planner,
