Mine was grand. (Canada Day was June 1, btw). While on break from work I saw a man in a blue shirt get into a blue truck. "That's odd and somewhat amusing," I mused to myself. Until I turned slightly to the left and saw a woman in a red shirt and a red car. "What the heck," I thought, "is there some memo that I missed? Reckon I ought to find me a black and white striped car to associate myself with." Deciding that option would be too difficult and expensive for a half-hour break, I listened to "O Canada" again on my iPod and finished my yogurt.
I have a Helpful Hint for you: don't ever make this cake. I did (after messing up a box cake...three ingredients and I f*** it up. Seriously, who does that?) and it turned out all flat like hella thick cornbread. Either something went wrong (more likely) or the recipe is crap. It tastes ok but guh, so annoying.
Since I didn't exactly have any other options (see: previous paragraph) I decorated the shit out of that cake anyway...and it looked flippin' amazing, if I do say so myself. Heck, other people are saying it, too. Ch-ch-ch-check it out:

Inoriiiiiite? I haven't decorated a cake in ages and a half so my skillz are a bit rusty (not to mention my drawin' skills are so lacking the search party are skeletons as dusty as Springfield) but I do like the result. Can you tell I am just the tiniest bit excited about this concert? Heh.
Georg's face is a wee bit messed up, but, surprisingly enough, that was unintentional. I tried to make it up by putting "Oni" (his truelove though he doesn't know it maybe) on his shirt. I also gave him a decent haircut, which he sorely needs.
Tom ("thug") is decked out in his cap as always, and the colour of his shirt is modelled after one he actually owns. OMG so realistic. I had fun adding the blonde bits on the ends of his dreads, mostly 'cause it gave me the giggles to think that here I was, meticulously frosting on the hair that wee twelve-year-old not-at-all-famous Tomi chose to have. Geek, thy name ist Charlotte.
Bill's hair looked like absolute shet the first time I put it on which is not at all acceptable but I just loaded on the frosting and dang I am happy with the result. No white streaks, 'cuz boyfriend moved on from those (and we wish we could, too, damn this porous hair!) but the flash kinda added them back in, don'tcha think? Someone misses the old-skool. Tho I couldn't replicate any of his crazy tees I blinged that baby up with my absolutely favourite silver balls, incl. suspenders (yes, those are suspenders) that he actually owns and wore at the 2008 Comet awards. Silver blingy chain suspenders, the perfect combo of dork (hell-o, suspenders) and supahstar. Yes, a plan is in the works to kidnap them.
Moving on to my absolutely amazing super badazz truelove Gustav (aka Muffin). In honour of his nickname Gustav's sporting a blueberry muffin on his t-shirt. He's also toting a bloody axe (oooh I know I am sooo tasteless) 'cause bro is totally an axe murderer. Come on just look at him. The angry-eyebrow was just a frosting f*** up (I love love love the black food coloured frosting but it is not very forgiving) but I reckon it suits him perfectly, neh?
I can hardly bear to eat the dang thing, which is horrid because it's a cake, but I've started to...haven't cut into the boys yet but the top part is delicious! The cake itself is only passable but the frosting is, of course, heavenly.
Haven't done anything else particularly thrilling lately...mostly work/sleep/spazz about the Tokio Hotel show. Oh, and Daniel and I were on the front page of this week's newspaper. I was not informed of this beforehand. Though we were unidentified and it was a good 14 years ago, people still recognize it. ::sigh::
Got an absolutely huge bag of hand-me-downs from Hanna & J today...most of them are massively too small, of course. Some cute things, though.
