Welcome to the Dollhouse

I miss my doll house. It was (is, I suppose, since it still exists, just isn't mine) the most lovely thing. My aunt and uncle made it for my cousin (because it's actually hers. Like Daniel & my bunkbeds), but I got to have it for a few years. I wanted a doll house for ages, that was always the big thing on my Santa letter. One year I got this...fold-out doll house, that was in a book. (I don't really know how to explain it; I think I may still have it, I'll check later). That was heartbreaking. I reckon that sometimes adults don't realize how that feels when you're wee, to want something so badly and get an imitation that doesn't come anywhere near the real thing. It's better to just not get it.

Anyway, that's off topic. My doll house. It was gorgeous, all hand-made and wood and whatnot, and I bought the most beautiful furniture and whatnot for it. Going around and finding stuff for it was so much fun! Back then they carried doll house furniture at the pet store here in town, which is a bit weird, I suppose. I bought this lovely white bed that had some great wirework on it, and some great chairs, and all that. Unfortunately...I broke a lot of it. Not on purpose, I just did. I guess doll houses and the like are just too fragile for me. Like people's hearts.

But yeah, I miss it. It was rather awesome. Just like Lillix. Which was a totally rockin' band a few years ago, but now half the lineup is different, there is a dude, and apparently they have not done anything since 2007. Damn.
