Purchase Tokio Hotel in Hot Topic!!
Meet the biggest band to come out of Germany in 20 years, Tokio Hotel. With over 6 million albums sold in Europe, four number one singles, two number one albums and countless certified gold and platinum records, the guys from Tokio Hotel are set to conquer North America.
With Scream, their US debut, ready for release, listeners will get a chance to hear how Tokio Hotel's melodic brand of rock easily navigates between headbanging guitars and power-packed anthems to mid-tempo pop tracks, and softer, more introspective ballads. From rock anthem "Scream" to rock ballad "Monsoon", Scream has something for everyone.
To
tide fans over until Scream arrives in the U.S., Tokio Hotel will
release a 2 song EP of anthemic rock tracks "Scream" and "Ready Set
Go." The $0.99 EP hits Hot Topic shelves exclusively September 11th.
YES, you read that correctly! Tokio Hotel is now available for purchase at Hot Topic stores in the U.S.! And for only $0.99, that's right, one dollar! Please please please please go to your local Hot Topic ((link to store finder)) and pick up a copy or two for yourself, plus one for each of your friends! Heck, they're only a dollar, why not buy a stack to pass out on street corners? I'm not one to advocate Hot Topic, but if this sells well here we could definitely be on our way to getting TH to the US!
There are phone numbers on the store locator page, so you can call up to see if they have it before going down there. My local one didn't even know what I was talking about (at 7pm on the 11th), but I'll keep trying until I get a positive answer. Of course, my "local" Hot Topic is 2 hours away and I don't know the next time I'll be going there, but I'll do my best!!
This is our chance to really show how much we want them to come here, so please get out and buy it! Come on, it's only a dollar. Get them for early Christmas gifts! Birthdays! Anniversaries! Bar/bat mitzvahs! Spread the word, as well. The more people we can get buying these EPs and listening to Tokio Hotel, the greater the interest, the larger the "WE WANT THEM HERE!" message is to TH's management. Let's do this thing!
Hoping hoping hoping,
Charlotte
