This book is about two girls who are brought together by their school's peer counseling program. Though one of them appears to be "normal" and the other would be more catagorised as a "freak" as they get to know each other they find out just how...well, screwed up the other is. It is pretty much a genius book. READ IT.

Son of the Mob

I read the first Son of the Mob book in middle school, but the second one came out after I graduated so I never got around to checking it out. It is a super-rad series about, big surprise, a son of the mob! I am definitely going to read this book, and you should, too!

I haven't actually read this book, but plan on getting it from the library. Apparently it is about King Arthur and all that fun stuff, which is quite genius. But it's in poetry.

Twins on Toes: A Ballet Debut

I have been a wanna-be ballerina for pretty much my whole life, and when I was little I loved to read this book (with heaps of photos) about twin girls who dance in the New York City Ballet school. It really shows what it's like to be a ballerina, even the not-so glamourous parts like chewed up feet. Gross but amazing!
